WHY TESTING MATTERS

ADHD can be hard to see

Trouble focusing, restlessness, and feeling scattered can come from many places: ADHD, anxiety, depression, sleep, stress, or even things like hormones and vitamin deficiencies. Traditional ADHD evaluations rely mostly on interviews and questionnaires, which can make it hard to tell the difference.

We use Qbtech, an FDA-cleared test that objectively measures the three core signs of ADHD: attention, impulsivity, and activity. Your results are compared to people of the same age and sex without ADHD, giving you and your provider data to go alongside your story.

how it works

What to expect

01

Request an evaluation

Fill out a short request form and our Care Team will reach out to schedule your appointment.

02

Share your story

Meet with a provider to talk through your history, symptoms, and what daily life looks like. You'll also complete a few brief questionnaires.

03

Take the test

A 20 minute computer-based test, done from home on a laptop with a webcam or in our office.

04

Review your results

Your provider walks you through your report and what it means, then builds a plan with you, whether that's therapy, medication support, or other next steps.

A guide for parents

Is Testing The Best Next Step?

A simple two-page guide for parents who just want to know where to start: when a full evaluation makes sense, how testing works, what it means for school, and what it costs.

Does the test diagnose ADHD on its own?

No single test can diagnose ADHD. The Qbtech test is one important piece, combined with your clinical interview and history, so your provider can make a thorough, confident decision.

Who can be tested?

We currently offer ADHD testing for ages 12 and up.

Can I do it from home?

Yes. You can complete testing virtually from home with a laptop, webcam, and internet connection, or in person at our office.

How much does it cost?

ADHD testing is $250 out of pocket. We also accept most major insurance plans, and coverage depends on your specific plan.

What happens after testing?

If ADHD is part of the picture, your care can continue at Honey with therapy for ADHD and executive function, medication management, or both, all with the same team.
