We look at what you’re coming to therapy for, your schedule, your insurance, and whether in-person or virtual care works better for you. You don't need to know exactly what you need before reaching out. Our request form will guide you along the way.

It depends on your needs and availability. If you have some flexibility, most new clients are scheduled within a week. If you have specific scheduling preferences, let us know on your request form, and we will do our best to move things forward quickly.
Yes, we are paneled with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, United Health, Priority Health, Aetna, and Cigna. That said, each insurance has various plans and details, so we will check your insurance ahead of time and let you know the details. You can also call your insurance and inquire about mental health coverage.
Yes, we offer virtual appointments for both Michigan and Ohio residents.
Yes, we offer ADHD testing for pre-teens, teens and adults ages 12+. Please find more info here.
Yes, if you meet with a therapist and find they are not the best fit, we are happy to work with you to schedule an appointment with someone else on our team.
Therapy appointments are between 50-55 minutes generally. Psychiatric intakes are 1 hour, and follow ups are between 15-30 minutes, depending on your specific needs. ADHD testing is a 20 minute test.
If you need to cancel, you can email us at hello@honeymentalhealth.com, call, or text 248-232-2555 and let us know. Your cancellation will be considered at the time the message is left, not the time it is received.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed entirely, are subject to a $130 cancellation fee.
Because we know life happens, we waive this fee once as a courtesy.
