OUR STORYHoney is a term of endearment.
Honey began in 2014 after founder and psychotherapist Brooke Miller moved to a new city for her husband's job with a three-year-old and a newborn baby. Like many new mothers, she found herself craving something that felt surprisingly difficult to find: community.
Not another parenting class.
Not another place to compare milestones.
A space where women could be honest about what motherhood was actually asking of them. She knew she couldn't be the only one feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and changed by the experience.
So she started a group. Women kept showing up. Because they were carrying far more than most people realized, and finally had a place where they didn't have to carry it alone.
That simple idea became Honey for Moms.
Today, Honey for Moms has grown into Honey Mental Health, a broader mental health organization offering therapy, psychiatry, groups, and specialized programs for parents, adults, couples, teens, and families.
The organization has evolved.
The heart behind it remains the same.
Honey exists to provide emotionally intelligent mental health care that helps people navigate the complicated work of being human
