Lisa Davis, MA, LPC
CLINICAL THERAPIST
Specializes in trauma, birth trauma, and maternal attachment
Lisa graduated from the University of Michigan's psychology program and earned her Master's in Counseling from Walden University. She also holds a certificate in gender studies.
Lisa has extensive experience working with interpersonal, developmental, and acute trauma, including childhood and birth trauma, as well as neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism. She's drawn to genuinely understanding the long-standing patterns that keep clients stuck, and unraveling them at the root β work she does in part through Brainspotting, a technique that blends relational, insight-oriented, and somatic approaches to ease anxiety, depression, generational trauma, and emotional pain.
Lisa has a particular focus on relationship issues, especially challenging dynamics with parents or partners and recovery from abusive or unhealthy relationships, as well as parenting stress and helping mothers who feel disconnected from their babies identify and work through what's blocking that bond.
